New Free Pattern Posted

I am releasing this for free, there are no instructions but it is
pretty straight forward on how to do it. The first picture shows
the colors I would pick for it but it all depends on what you like.
Change the colorway to anything that is your preference.
It is big enough that you could do needle turn or use the heat
bond and go with iron on. I added an area that I thought I would
spray some extra color on - you can see that above on the b/w
version, and then I thought the honeycomb would be nice
stitched in white, stitching could also be added on the
bees wings. The other thing I would use is some fabric paint to
add on some of the details like the white on the bees back at
the top and maybe to add shading to the hive and flowers as well.
Finished size will be roughly 24 x 34 inches, but if you are like
me that is just a guide and not an absolute. It will use 21 pages
to print out. Pattern is here.

Hello again

Well, I have been away from blogging for quite some time now. Medical issues, life got in the way but I do plan on picking this back up again. I see some new folks have followed since I have been missing in action.
So, if anyone is listening, and following I would like some input on what you might be interested in on the blog? I have done graphic design for too many years and was wondering if anyone has a particular quilt in mind that they would like designed and posted. I would be happy to come up with something for you that we can work on. Maybe if I get some people putting up some ideas, we could come up with a vote. Are you in?
I will check back often and see if we have any comments and take it from there if there is enough interest.

The patternspot link on here is no longer working, since they closed down awhile ago. Hmmm, now to remember how to remove that. Been awhile.
So let me leave you with a pic of the quilt along that I am working on from facebook group of Sharon Keightley, she has some very beautiful quilts and great inspiration.

Have a great day and hope to see some input from you.

To fix or not to fix

I found this pattern on pinterest and it is a very beautiful pattern..... but I noticed something as I was crocheting it and I have pointed it out on here. The arrow is pointing to the fact that the pattern is not centered with the rest of the doily. I don't know if I am just being really nit picky but I had to fix that. Maybe the pattern is suppose to be that way but it seemed not right to do it that way.
So, here is the picture with it fixed - in my opinion anyway :-)

I still need to add on the individual corners and it is not ironed at this point but you get the gist of it anyway. Do you think that lining it up helps or would you have just continued on with the pattern as is?

Don't forget to visit Justquiltin because she is starting the new BOM this weekend. I love these cats on the quilt.

I corrected alot of the mug rug patterns on Craftsy that I have had up for better then a year now. I was alerted to a problem with them when a very nice lady named Regina emailed me about it. Apparently the files are corrupted and not printing correctly so hopefully now that is resolved and craftsy will be sending notice to all those who have bought the pattern in the past to download the updated versions of them.
I have not got an update on the serenity harbour sampler for this month yet, as I have not managed to get the section for this month done yet but will post it as soon as I get that done.
Have a great rest of the day.........

Just Stitching

Here is the 2nd part of the Serenity Harbour Sampler stitch along. Really looking forward to the 3rd part now as the birds will be in the next release of the pattern.
